I could only recommend it to a trained chef or cook as it has professional descriptions, words, and phrases. Many of course are in French.

This is a culinary classic...new, its price is out of my budget so this previously-owned copy (in good shape) was a great opportunity

Didn't know quite what to expect so bought it as a prezzie to self for Christmas, LOVE IT that's all I can say except I am learning a lot. Thanks.
