This plug does not fit new model Samsung refrigerators, and I was mislead by the availability of this plug for what I believed was a standard Samsung refrig filter. In addition, let me echo other reviews - the cap is flimsy and cheap, probably cost 15 cents to injection mold in China (kanji characters on the product center). The cap cost $3.95, and the shipping was $6.25, and it was shipped in a 9x9x6 box that could have literally fit 100 of these caps in it with room to spare when a small, bubble padded envelope would have cost far less. So, I tried to return it and RepairClinic asking only for the refund and for them to pay the return shipping but they refused to pay for shipping. Buyer beware, of the products on this site.

Do not waste your money on this. I stupidly ignored negative reviews thinking it couldn't possibly be that bad, it's worse. You know that thin plastic disposable coffee cup lids are made out of? That's what this is made from. It's a piece of trash. Literally. This is my first purchase from this website and I will never buy anything from here again based on what was just sent to me. It's too bad there's no option for zero stars.

This part might be worth $0.10. Flimsy plastic, not as thick as most clam-shell packages. I thought it was used to bypass the water filter like other brands of refrigerators have, and that is my fault. But whatever it's used for, you can find something around the house that will do what this part is supposed to do. Like duct tape.

Bought a filter system for my house. The technician that installed the system told me I needed to remove the in-refrigerator filter on the water dispenser because being filtered twice makes the water pressure too low. This cap covered the in refrigerator filter connector.
